Every product is used by our editors for at least 30 days before it can be recommended. We reject roughly 80% of what is submitted. There is no paid placement, and no product vanishes from a list because a brand stopped responding to our emails. We only remove items when they stop being the best option.
We earn a small commission when you purchase through our links, typically 4-10% depending on the retailer. The price you pay is identical to buying directly. Commissions do not influence ranking: our editorial process is separate from our business side, and the team choosing products is not shown revenue per item.

Where a country of origin is claimed, we verify supplier documentation. Where a piece is labeled ethically sourced, we have reviewed the chain of custody or mine-direct relationship. We do not currently carry jade, pearl, or tanzanite, the sourcing is too opaque for us to stand behind.
Returns are handled by the retailer, not by us. We link directly to the retailer return policy from each product page. If you ever have a bad experience with a product we recommended, email us. We track complaints and it is one of the fastest ways something gets de-listed.
